InfiniEdge believes in giving back to the community that our staff and many of
our customers call home. Whenever possible, we offer services and donations to
area charities and community associations. Normally, our staff and management
will select at least one pro-bono project each year. We look for opportunities
to assist charitable or non-profit organizations in their missions to better
the community. We may donate our services in software development and/or
graphic design. In other cases, we may commit special rates to a charitable
organization that requests a software or web project.
PRO-BONO SERVICE PROJECTS
GONZALES FOOD FEST
Each year, the Rotary Club of Gonzales sponsors a Food Fest in order
to raise funds for the St. Theresa of Avila Community Services Committee.
Through their partner agency, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, St. Theresa
works to feed members of the community who are in need. The Rotary event
provides St. Theresa with additional funds to carry on its mission.
The InfiniEdge graphics team has provided professionally designed signs, fliers,
advertisements and menus for the food fest. Additionally, we have helped with
setup and volunteered to work at the event.
UNITED WAY
The Capital Area United Way holds an annual Day of Caring to build interest in
volunteerism. The event encourages businesses and organizations to give their
time and efforts to help better the community.
InfiniEdge created a specific program for the United Way to help them organize
volunteers and coordinate hours for the Day of Caring program.
ASCENSION FUND
The Ascension Fund seeks to augment education in Ascension Parish by rewarding
funds to worthy students and educational organizations. The Fund raises dollars
for scholarships and other educational causes.
With the help of a small database developed by InfiniEdge, The Ascension Fund is
able to easily track scholarship applicants and award recipients. This program
keeps them organized in their pursuit to enrich education in Ascension Parish.
ASCENSION CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
In order to allow businesses to promote their products and services and make new
business contacts, the Ascension Chamber of Commerce holds round table events.
Setting up a round table event where all participants are exposed to the
maximum number of other business people is not an easy feat. InfiniEdge
developed a program to help them simplify the process of assigning participants
to various tables for each session. This software has helped the Chamber's
Business Day Round Table Event to run smoothly and effectively.
ONGOING SERVICE
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
InfiniEdge was contracted to create software for the Society of St. Vincent de
Paul Council of Baton Rouge. The organization was in need of a way to manage
donations and gifts received. During this project, the InfiniEdge staff and
management were humbled by the mission and dedication of St. Vincent de Paul.
After witnessing the construction of a new, larger dining hall and a women and
children's shelter, we realized just how important the efforts of St. Vincent
de Paul were.
Each year since the completion of the original software, we have donated hours
of development time in order to assist with updates and enhancements to
accommodate the changing needs of this one of a kind organization.

MONETARY DONATIONS
InfiniEdge believes in supporting charitable and worthy causes through monetary
donations as well as service. We most often support educational initiatives
throughout the State of Louisiana and specifically in Ascension Parish.
Additionally, we are always willing to give to charities of significance to our
staff and clients.
EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
As we continue to keep our company on the cutting edge of technology, we often
find ourselves with unused equipment. Computers, printers and other items that
are fully operational are often donated to area schools or community
organizations. Sometimes we may not have anything available when the need
arises, but we are always willing to help charitable and community
organizations find resources.
